Society and the environment are the interested parties of the organization and responding to them and providing balanced benefits to them, are our goals and policies.

The company also tries, while moving within the framework of law, to draw the environment, society, current and upcoming generations into the circle of beneficiaries of the company so that, with a pioneering approach and responding them voluntarily, would guarantee and ensure the movement toward sustainable development.

In this regard, Pars Khazar Co. as a responsible organization environmental affairs, in addition to compliance with legal requirements, has been taking effective environmental actions by carrying out the following affairs:

Provisions of environmental commitments

Conversion of consumption fuel systems of boilers and hot-air furnaces from fuel-oil mode to gas oil mode in order to reduce the environmental pollutants
Conversion of all aluminum melting furnaces in die-casting and filing workshops from gas-oil to gas fuel mode
Conversion of all engine rooms of central heating systems into gas burning mode
Conversion of heating systems of all workshops into gas burning mode
Changing of painting system from wet paint to powder coating (electrostatic) mode which leads to elimination of emission of toxic vapors and significantly reduces wastage of which gets into the ecosystem in the form of refuse and reversibility of the collected residual paints with the new mode
Removal of cyanide compounds in the plating unit
Mechanization of the wastewater treatment system, currently, effluents from the factory in terms of environmental indicators are within standard boundaries. The accuracy of these statements is confirmed by the inspectors from Environment Dept. with their periodic sampling
Prevention of breaking down of the equipment and control of physical assets of the company and wastage of resources, by establishing of a unified and systematic approach to preventive repair and maintenance (P.M.) system since 1991
The approach of the organization towards optimization of inventory of the raw materials and reduction of wastage in resources by application of integrated planning system in material management
Application of the methods and organizing of industrial housekeeping (5S) teams
Establishment of Energy Management Committee in 1997 in direction to optimized energy consumption, proceeding for planning to reduce consumptions and optimizing different forms of energy including:
- Checking of electricity control stations of the factory with the aim to bringing down the reactive power towards zero, major repairs and updating the capacitors bank system of electrical power stations
- Overall improvements to the steam distribution system in the main steam generation engine room and decreasing operation time of steam boilers and their burners
- Modifying the distribution of air direction and increasing of air storage tanks capacities, removal of probable leakages, regular servicing of compressors (decreasing of operation time of compressors), and finally, improvements in consumption conditions (Reduction of electric power consumption, to prevent wastage of compressed air-produced)
Implementation of repair and maintenance programs, well written, regarding all the energy supply equipment including electricity, steam boilers, and compressors
Several research projects to improve consumption of the raw materials and replacing materials from different sources and reduction of wastages and scraps, recycling or re-using of materials such as prevention of wastage of materials, parts and non-conforming products, a compilation of quality plans for all items including parts made inside the factory and components purchased from outsources and communicate it to the suppliers in order to prevent sending non-conforming items to the destination workshops
Several research projects to improve consumption of the raw materials and replacing materials from different sources and reduction of wastages and scraps, recycling or re-using of materials such as prevention of wastage of materials, parts, and non-conforming products, a compilation of quality plans for all items including parts made inside the factory and components purchased from outsources and communicate it to the suppliers in order to prevent sending non-conforming items to the destination workshops
Self-inspection and self-control practices for the future, followed by the development of self-inspection attitude to all personnel of production workshops
Formation of quality circles within the production workshops of the factory and using statistical process control methods to analyze the wastages and factors effective in wastages at workshops and subsequently, organizing of monthly meetings for analysis of wastages in management levels in monthly periods and making decisions to remove the main causes of defectives
Establishment of Safety Committee in order to minimize any harmful environmental effects in the production process at the company, from the beginnings of activities of the company
By restarting of the development plan of the factory, extensive reviews and researches have been carried out to make use of modern technologies, reducing energy and water consumption, reducing effluents, reduction of scraps and fewer wastages are among the objectives of the said researches
